• Whilst it is natural to feel nervous when attending a psychologist for the first time, there are many misconceptions about what seeing a psychologist involves.

In your first session you will discuss what has brought you into therapy. Your psychologist will develop an understanding of your concerns as well as your relevant background history. From this, we will work with you to develop a collaborative and flexible plan for future therapy sessions.

Our Clinical Psychologist will incorporate evidence-based therapies to assist you in your healing journey.

  • Seeing a psychologist can help with understanding yourself and others better, feeling more positive, increasing your confidence, self belief and much more.

Psychologists have a minimum of six years university and supervised training, and are required to be registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency).

Psychologists also practice in accordance with a Code of Ethics which outlines the standards of professional conduct.
